THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A WIND
CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SATURDAY.
* LOCATIONS...NORTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA INTO NORTHWESTERN
MINNESTOTA NORTH OF A DEVILS LAKE TO HILLSBORO TO WADENA LINE.
* WIND CHILL READINGS...AS LOW AS 35 BELOW.
Instructions:
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND

CORRECTED AREA OF CONCERN
...POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW RETURNS FROM SATURDAY EVENING INTO
SUNDAY...
AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE
REGION FROM SATURDAY EVENING INTO SUNDAY. AN AREA OF SNOW WILL
OCCUR AHEAD OF THIS FEATURE AND REACH EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA VERY
LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND THEN SPREAD EAST INTO
MINNESOTA SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY.
THERE REMAINS MUCH UNCERTAINTY TO HOW MUCH SNOW WILL FALL WITH
THIS SYSTEM OVER EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA INTO NORTHWESTERN AND WEST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE FAVORED AREA FOR 3 OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW
REMAINS WEST OF A HALLOCK TO THIEF RIVER FALLS TO PARK RAPIDS
LINE.  IN ADDITION SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MPH AND FALLING
SNOW MAY AID IN VISIBILITY REDUCTION FROM THE RED RIVER VALLEY
REGION WESTWARD SATURDAY NIGHT.
