Member CW2692 of the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP).
The positioning and calibration of the weather station sensors has been carefully considered to maximize accuracy of the readings. We use CWOP to help make sure our data is accurate.

Also included is the reported data for the National Weather Service meteorological station at Bemidji Regional Airport (KBJI in purple). Bemidji Regional Airport is the weather most often quoted by news and Internet sources for the Bemidji area. It is about 11.4 statute miles from BemidjiWx.com.

WEATHER STATION
Weather Station - A weather station is a facility with instruments and equipment to make weather observations by monitoring atmospheric conditions to study the weather. This weather station has a thermometer for measuring temperature; barometer for measuring changes in air pressure; hygrometer for measuring humidity; anemometer for measuring wind speed and wind direction; and rain gauge for measuring precipitation.
